Teacher of the Month:
Stacey Jeffress
Stacey is currently a Science Teacher at Rawlins Middle School. Mrs. Jeffress is a high energy teacher who is always up and moving around with a smile on her face. Her students work together and know her expectations. It has also been stated that Stacey is great for parent communications and is able to effectively express her concerns as well as positives with parents. Mrs. Jeffress is a positive force and is able to bring knowledge to staff and supervisors. Stacey continually pushes her students to do their very best every day. Congratulations Stacey, Carbon County School District #1 appreciates all of your hard work, energy, and enthusiasm you bring to our students! Thank you and Congratulations!

Classified Support Staff of the Month:
DeShann Schinkel 
DeShann is not only our Aquatics Director but also the Head Girls and Boys Swim Coach. Her teams have experienced a great deal of success under her leadership. DeShann has also been named Coach of the Year! DeShann works hard and has developed a staff that is second to none! They are doing a great job meeting the needs of the District and Community. Ms. Schinkel works extremely well with the community. Her responsiveness to the needs of the community and the customer service she and her staff give is top-notch. She puts in numerous hours a week to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. DeShann's concern for safety, the facility, and her staff make her an outstanding member of CCSD#1. All of your hard work, countless hours, knowledge, tenacity, and dedication are greatly appreciated! Thank you, Coach Schinkel and Congratulations!

Unsung Student Hero of the Month:
Bryston Beck
Bryston Beck is a 9th grader at Rawlins High School. It has been said Bryston is hardworking and conscientious. He makes sure he gets all of his assignments in on time and comes in for extra help when necessary. Bryston is kind and caring to his fellow students and teachers. It has been stated that Bryston maintains a 3.0 GPA and is active in wrestling, football, and Best Buddies. He is actively engaged in whatever he is involved in. He is respectful, asks questions, and serves as a great role model for others. Please take time to congratulate Bryston being named Unsung Student Hero of the Month. Thank you Bryston!
