Gilbert Archuleta

Board Vice Chair

Gilbert was born and raised in Rawlins. After attending Rawlins are schools, he went on to earn his Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming. He has lived in multiple locals both in Wyoming and elsewhere, but always knew Rawlins was where he wanted his children raised. Mr. Archuleta has two teenage daughters still at home. Gilbert has always believed in the importance of education and community service. In addition to serving with the CCSD1 Board of Trustees he has served on two boards for the City of Rawlins. He is currently in the final year of his second term with the CCSD1 Board of Trustees. He is proud of his time serving the District and considers it a privilege to have worked with the dedicated individuals, current and past, he has come to respect. Mr. Archuleta recognizes a vibrant and successful school system requires constant vigilance and should never be allowed to become stagnate. As such being a part of the team who identifies and implements necessary changes to the District is what continues to motivate him. Gilbert welcomes open and honest discussion concerning the direction of Carbon County School District # 1. A direction he is confident will continue to be positive.
