Home School

2022-2023 School Year Dear Homeschool Parent,

Carbon County School District #1 considers the education of all students to be of utmost importance. We

honor your choice to homeschool your child, and value a partnership with you throughout this process. In order to partner with you, there is information we need to share with, and request from, you per district policy and state requirements.

At this link, you will find information guiding you through the district policies and procedures for declaring your child to be homeschooled. Read through the information thoroughly as this packet serves as our initial consultation process. Please complete, sign, and return the following forms to me at Central Office:

•       Policy JHG-E(l)

•       Policy JHG-E(2)

•        Application for Free and Reduced School Meals

Should you choose to continue with homeschooling in future years, this packet will need to be completed annually. If further consultation is needed, I would be happy to schedule an appointment to discuss options available to you and your child as a homeschool family. If at any time you have questions regarding policies and procedures during your homeschool instruction, please do not hesitate to contact me.
