In honor of National School Bus Safety Week-To all of our CCSD #1 Transportation Staff: Thank you for your hard work and commitment. You ensure our students arrive at school and return home safely, and we appreciate your efforts more than you know. You take them to and from activities and athletic events all around the state (and other states) and sometimes, you drive in not so nice Wyoming winter weather. But we know our students are safe with you, and we appreciate all you do!

School custodians are vital members of the school community, contributing to a safe, clean, and healthy environment that fosters student learning and overall well-being. Their roles extend beyond basic cleaning to include grounds keeping, maintenance, security, and even mentoring students. The importance of custodians is further highlighted by their year-round work, including deep cleaning and maintenance projects during summer breaks, ensuring schools are ready for the start of each new academic year. In essence, school custodians are the silent heroes who work diligently behind the scenes to create and maintain the optimal conditions for effective teaching and learning.
