This past Monday was National Coaches Appreciation Day. School coaches play a vital role in fostering not only athletic skills but also crucial life lessons like teamwork, discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship. Beyond the scoreboard, these mentors build character, provide guidance, and inspire personal growth, making a lasting impact on students' lives both on and off the field, court, pool, or mat. Thank you for all you do, coach!

School custodians are vital members of the school community, contributing to a safe, clean, and healthy environment that fosters student learning and overall well-being. Their roles extend beyond basic cleaning to include grounds keeping, maintenance, security, and even mentoring students. The importance of custodians is further highlighted by their year-round work, including deep cleaning and maintenance projects during summer breaks, ensuring schools are ready for the start of each new academic year. In essence, school custodians are the silent heroes who work diligently behind the scenes to create and maintain the optimal conditions for effective teaching and learning.

School social workers and counselors are on the front lines of suicide prevention by identifying at-risk students, assessing their needs, and connecting them to appropriate interventions and support systems. They serve as a vital link between the home, school, and community, fostering open communication and ensuring students receive comprehensive mental health support. School social workers and counselors also educate staff, students, and families about suicide awareness, warning signs, and available resources, helping to reduce stigma and promote a culture of help-seeking behavior. Thank you for all you do!

Our food service professionals made lots of meals earlier this summer and delivered them to students in our community.
