**Verizon Wireless Customers** Calls from Verizon Wireless towers are not connecting to any schools in the district. Please open a ticket with Verizon to let them know so we can expedite a fix 1-800-922-0204. In the meantime please contact the school via other means (another carrier, rooms app, email) We apologize for this inconvenience and hope the issue gets resolved quickly.

Dear Carbon County School District 1 Parents, Students, and Staff,
Please disregard the previous late-start notification.
Due to continued, unforeseen issues related to the power outage that impact our ability to safely operate and serve meals, all Rawlins schools (Rawlins Elementary School, Rawlins Middle School, Rawlins High School, and Victory High School) will be CLOSED today, Monday, August 25, 2025.
School is cancelled for the entire day.
All classes and school-related activities are canceled.
We anticipate resuming normal operations tomorrow, Tuesday, August 26.
We understand this may cause significant inconvenience and appreciate your flexibility and patience. Please stay safe, and we will update you if the situation changes.

8/25/25 Update: Due to the power outage we will have a late start this morning. Schools will start on a 2 hour delay. 10am for Rawlins Elementary School and K1 Campus and 10:30am for Rawlins High School, Victory High School and Rawlins Middle School - Buses will run routes on a 2 hour delay from their normal schedule.- Breakfast will not be served

Our phone lines at Rawlins Elementary School and Rawlins High School are currently down. Our technology department is hard at work to get them back up and functioning. Thank you for your understanding and patience while we work on this issue.

Yesterday, we welcomed back LSRV staff and today, we welcome back our Rawlins staff for the 2025-2026 school year. Carbon #1 is very fortunate to have so many teachers, counselors, secretaries, nurses, para professionals, administrators, SRO's, transportation staff, food service staff, maintenance/custodial staff, athletic staff and coaches, and technology staff in our district. Here's wishing you the best year yet! Thank you for all you do!
Also, a big THANK YOU to all of our maintenance/custodial, food service, aquatic, transportation, summer school, technology, and central office staff who worked though the summer to ensure we have the best start to the school year! Your hard work shows and we appreciate you!
