To the CCSD #1 Maintenance Team, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your hard work and commitment. The facilities team plays an invaluable role in our school's daily operation, and we are deeply appreciative of everything you do. Your efforts in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of our campus are greatly appreciated. Your dedication helps create a positive and conducive learning environment for our students and staff, and we are so grateful to have you on our team!

At the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, they understand that life's challenges can sometimes be difficult. Whether you're facing mental health struggles, emotional distress, alcohol or drug use concerns, or just need someone to talk to, there are caring counselors just a call, text, or chat away. You are not alone.

#SuicidePreventionMonthSeptember
School social workers and counselors are on the front lines of suicide prevention by identifying at-risk students, assessing their needs, and connecting them to appropriate interventions and support systems. They serve as a vital link between the home, school, and community, fostering open communication and ensuring students receive comprehensive mental health support. School social workers and counselors also educate staff, students, and families about suicide awareness, warning signs, and available resources, helping to reduce stigma and promote a culture of help-seeking behavior. Thank you for all you do!

At last Thursday's Board Meeting, Cole Tully, one of our CCSD #1 bus drivers, was recognized as Support Staff of the Month for his leadership to "Fill the Bus." The transportation department collected over $6,000 in donations and 69 backpacks full of school supplies that they delivered to schools the day before the school year started. Thank you, Cole and the CCSD #1 Transportation department for your support of our students this summer and all school year!
Thank you to the following community businesses who donated to this drive: Rawlins National Bank, Bank of Commerce, Memorial Hospital of Carbon County, Car Quest, Williams, The Movies 3, Walmart, Dirty Boyz Sanitation, Black Water Solutions, and Jay and Connie Grabow. We appreciate your support for the students of CCSD #1!

Our food service professionals made lots of meals earlier this summer and delivered them to students in our community. During the school year, they nourish our students and staff so that every day they can be their best selves. In honor of Character Strong Kindness Day for Food Service tomorrow, say thank you when you see our food service workers today. Thank you for all you do!
